The Science Association of Nigeria (SAN) recently held its 2016 Annual National Conference and Golden Jubilee Anniversary at the University of Abuja. The conference themed: “Science for National Growth and Development” held between 24 and 28 April 2016. Three zonal secretariats were approved to enhance the co-ordination of series of SAN activities at the event. There were University of Ilorin (Northern zone), University of Nigeria, Nsukka (Eastern zone) and University of Ibadan (Western zone).
Also, two lecturers of the University of Ilorin, Professor B.L Adeleke and Professor (Mrs) M.T Bakare Odunola were admitted as fellows of SAN based on their contributions towards the development of Science in Nigeria.
