The one act play, penned by the international award winning writer, is directed by Nick Monu and focuses on a bungled kidnapping during which an American hostage and his Nigerian abductor learn about the value of life.

The cast and crew include actors Frank Adekunle Macaulay and Toyin Oshinaike, costume and set designer Simone Monu, and assistant director Bayo Abifarin.

Atta, who is also the author of Everything Good will Come was born in Lagos and trained as a chartered accountant in England and as a CPA in the United States. Her plays have been broadcast by the BBC and her first play, The Engagement was staged at MUSON in 2005. She is the winner of the inaugural Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature in Africa in 2006 and the Noma Award for Publishing in Africa in 2009. She lives in Meridian, Mississippi with her husband Gboyega Ransome-Kuti and their daughter Temi. Her other works include Swallow and News from Home.

The director, Nick Monu, was also born in Lagos, Nigeria and trained at the American University in Washington DC and Webber Douglas in London. He has worked for more than 20 years in the area of film, gathering experience in producing, directing and acting. He worked in all major houses in the UK, including Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, The Royal Court, The Globe Theatre, Manchester Exchange, BBC and ITV.
