The All Progressives Congress, APC, Youths and Student council, Imo state chapter, on Monday called on the President, Bola Tinubu to select men and women of integrity to oversee the distribution process of the student loan to the beneficiaries.

The State Coordinator of the group, Chizitere Ahubelem, spoke to newsmen while reacting to Tinubu’s student loan law.

He said the reason for men and women of integrity to be in the committee, was to ensure that the project does not fail.

Ahubelem said: “Let start by commending the President Bola Tinubu for appointment of Orire Agbaje a 400Level Student of University of Ibadan as Advisory Committee Member on Fiscal Policy and Tax reforms. The appointment shows that Mr. President is desirous in the building of youths as leaders of tomorrow.

“However, most importantly and a various matter is the signing of student loan into law by the president, this again shows that the president’s for the growth of youths is obvious. Our worry, is to tell Mr. President that there is need to achieve positivity with this.”

“How can that be done, we are calling on our president to search for men and women of integrity to serve at the committee that will be in charge of the disbursing of the loan to students. If handle well, it will become one of the mile stone achievement for the APC, and the Nigeria youths. But if fail, they will laugh at us,” he said.
