Your organization initiated the annual celebration of Welfare Day in the country, what inspired it and what is it all about?
The  desire to achieve the wellbeing of all necessitated the annual celebration of the Welfare Day. It is a day set aside to specially amplify welfare services to the public and also to honour and celebrate stakeholders recognized for rendering  high-grade  welfare services to the masses.
It is not just a national programme but a project with global vision. In a few years by God’s special grace we shall be celebrating “WORLD WELFARE DAY”.

With your interaction with widows and youth what do you think are their major challenges and how do you think they can be tackled?
My close interactions with them show that most of these vulnerable groups have been suffering from untold hardship resulting from unemployment. Therefore a massive empowerment programme that will enhance self employment is undoubtedly necessary.
With this, the widows will have a means of caring for themselves and their children. This will help cushion their pains and also deter the youth from negative practices to become responsible citizens.  
The youth empowerment programme will deter young girls from prostitution and trafficking while most of the young men will abstain from kidnapping and robbery.

Your organization proposes widows and youth empowerment nationwide during this year’s welfare day, how do you hope to actualize this goal?
We intend accomplishing it  through what we term a four Ps strategy, that is public private partnership programmme with government agencies and other relevant bodies.
We have submitted a proposal for a partnership programme with the office of the first lady of Nigeria, Dr. Mrs Patience Jonathan and we  hope that her Excellency will respond positively to collaborate with our organization in order to empower widows and girls during this year’s welfare day on December 16th.

What machineries do you think should still be put in place to improve the welfare of vulnerable Nigerians?
I think it is embracement, partnership and sponsorship of youth oriented programmes in order to foster human empowerment. A comprehensive training programme for skills acquisition or improvement with adequate funding will help boost the welfare of vulnerable groups.

What is your advice for women on home making?
My advice goes to everyone not only women. First of all, remember always to make peace with all. Secondly, do not give up in your ideal endeavours, life is a driving process; you must apply the driving principles to accomplish your vision. Where you can’t go straight forward, you swerve left or right to proceed. Sometimes you reverse completely to find a different root to your destination.” This logic is of paramount importance in all positive ventures, so do not give up in your positive efforts but strive to find a successful strategy of attaining your goals bearing in mind that heavens have ways of complementing all Godly efforts.

As the name implies, Welfare Communications Limited charity arm is an organization set up for the purpose of examining the factors militating against the well being of the masses and the solutions to such challenges through effective information and fact finding processes.
Such data are communicated to appropriate institutions where necessary for concrete approaches.
Yes. Welfare Communications Limited is a business organization with charitable wing that makes provisions for vulnerable groups. Welfare Communications Limited is also affiliated to a non-governmental organization known as Poverty Alleviation and Welfare Initiative for the Displaced persons.
Just as welfare is not restricted to any set of persons, our services are open towards improving the well being of all.

How has the organization impacted on the life of women and children?
Welfare Communications Limited has anchored more on peace building and ways of curbing violence against women. I am the pioneer of the social peace preaching exercise under the umbrella of Welfare Communications Limited.
This we have done through the ministry of women affairs and social development, the Nigerian Union of Journalists NUJ, Traditional ruling council, Nigerian Prisons service, grass root women groups, Police officers Wives Association POWA, among others.
We recently initiated and organized the “Police Inspires Peace in Nigeria (PIPING)” programme, an arm of “Peace Inspiration Programme in Nigeria or in the globe (PIPING)” amongst the Police Officers Wives Association, POWA.
In this forum, we inspire the members on how to develop the attitude of making peace with all. Again, we recently initiated widow’s empowerment programme for Police Widows Association, PWA which was promptly implemented by POWA.
These and many of my peace and welfare promotion programmes makes me to be famously referred to as Princess of Peace and Welfare Princess.
