While handing over the bus to the lawyers at his Calabar residence, Senator Ndoma-Egba said it was a redemption of his pledge and hoped that it would serve them well.
He said it can also be considered as an empowerment initiative extended to his first constituency.
Chairman of NBA, in Ikom, Barr. Emmanuel Okang, lauded the Senate Leader for his magnanimity and for remembering his home NBA.
“By this singular action, the Senate Leader has proved to members of the NBA that he is still one of us and he also wants his home NBA to stand up.  Whenever he is back from national assignment at the Senate he will return to join us.”
Also expressing happiness over the donation,  Barr. Utum Eteng, said Nigerians should accord respect to their leaders and prayed God to lead both the lawyers and the nation.
The Ikom branch of the NBA consists of Ikom, Boki, Yakurr, Obubra, Etung, and Abi LGAs.
