The Senate on Wednesday observed a minute silence in honour of the founder of AIT/Raypower, High Chief Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi, who died on Monday.
It also urged the Federal Government to immortalise him based on his contributions to national development.
This followed a motion by the chairman of the Senate Committee on Customs, Tariff and Excise, Senator Francis Alimikhena (PDP, Edo), who notified his colleagues of Dokpesi’s demise.
Alimikhena and several other lawmakers paid glowing tributes to the late media mogul.
