Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I Jibrin, CFR, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umaru Radda, on the passing of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Baribari.

Hajiya Safara’u died at 93 on Saturday. Senator Barau, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Alhaji Ismail Mudashir, prayed to Allah to grant her Jannatul Firdaus.

“I extend my deepest condolences to the Governor of Katsina State, Mal. Dikko Umaru Radda, on the passing of his beloved mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Baribari.

“Hajiya Safara’u was a devout Muslim who dedicated her life to the worship of Allah SWT. Her dedication to nurturing her family and the wider community will be remembered for generations.
