The Senator Representing Taraba South Senatorial District, Sen. David Jimkuta, has distributed empowerment materials worth N2 billion to his constituents.

Senator Jimkuta  while lnaugurating the items in Wukari, headquarters of Wukari Local Government, on Tuesday  said the exercise was aimed at appreciating the support and encouragement of his constituents.

He explained that the first person to be appreciated was his political godfarther Chief David Kente who received a 2025 Toyota Prado Jeep worth N250 million.

He stated  that the car gift to his boss, Chief David Kente, was also to mark the 60th Birthday of the Political godfather who has stood by him from his formative years in politics.

According to the Senator, he has similarly rolled out a total of 70 cars, 40 tricycle pickups, and 150 motorcycles to his supporters in appreciation  to them for their support to him.

Senator Jimkuta, said other items include 100 shewing machines, 40 Industrial Sewing machines, 25 car washing machines, 30 irrigation pumping machines and 100 grinding machines.

In his address  at the occasion, the Chairman of DSK Foundation, Chief David Kente, said that he was surprised by the gift from Sen. Jimkuta, whom he described as a worthy political son.

While commending the Senator for the efforts he has made so far, Kente urged him to brace up for more service to the people.
