Senator Idah was speaking to newsmen while inspecting a community-owned Abbatoir Primary School in Katsina metropolis named after him and which he pledged to provide classes, staff rooms and other infrastructures before the year runs out.

He said, as the grassroots educational foundation which everyone must pass through in life, primary school demanded all the attention and support it needed, describing as unjustifiable for the lucky products of such schools to drive in posh cars and live in expansive houses while their real foundation was in shambles.

He then called on the Academic Staff Union of the Universities (ASUU) to be more reasonable and realistic in its demand to Federal Government in view of the competing demand on lean resources at government’s coppers, so that students would go back to schools and pursue their endeavours.
