He said, “We have seen politicians come and go, but only a few truly remember the legacy of our father, Chief MKO Abiola. Senator Yayi has distinguished himself as one of them. ”

“This project shows that he not only respect the Late Abiola family but also values the ideals of justice, empowerment, and progress that our father stood for.”

Ambassador Abiola also revealed that the family had earlier reached out to Senator Yayi with a request for the installation of the streetlights to enhance safety and development in the area, and that the senator graciously approved and executed the project in response to their appeal.

“We must also acknowledge that this project came through our family’s facilitation. We reached out to Senator Yayi, and he didn’t hesitate to act.”

The Chairman of the Abiola Family Youth Wing, therefore appealed to the Federal Government to consider the Head of the MKO Abiola family, Alhaji Olamilekan Abiola, for a federal appointment in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second tenure.
