A Nigerian woman, Loving Emmanuel, who lives in Senegal, has been detained on charges of trafficking three minors for prostitution by the Edo State Security Corps (ESSC) in Iruekpen community in Esan West Local Government Area.

The suspect was alleged to have successfully recruited three underage girls by luring them into the trip to Senegal with lucrative employment offers.

It was gathered that the suspect had completed all the documentation for the journey to the West African country by land without the consent of the girls’ parents.

The corps’ Deputy Commander, Richard Balogun, who disclosed the incident, said the suspect had been handed over to the police and the victims reunited with their families.
