Seven Energy Finance Limited has appointed Manish Maheshwari as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Maheshwari has over 22 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of Essar Exploration & Production, and prior to that as Managing Director of Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Limited, a subsidiary of Eni SPA.

Manish has a Bachelor Degree in Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from Strathclyde University. He is a member of several professional bodies including the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN).

Phillip Ihenacho, the outgoing Chief Executive, said: “I am very pleased that we have succeeded in attracting such a high quality Chief Executive for the Group. As we enter the next phase of the group’s development, Manish brings all the relevant industry experience to deliver our strategy and I personally look forward to working closely with him.”
