The Provost, Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, Dr Dikko Goshe has died at 54 after a brief illness.

He passed on Saturday night at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, UDUTH Sokoto.

Among those who attended the funeral prayer were Sokoto state Governor Aminu Tambuwal and Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar.

The funeral prayer was led by the Chief Imam of the College, Dr Abubakar Mai-Hankali, and the deceased was buried at the Rugar-Wauru cemetery in Sokoto. 

Dikko Goshe is survived by two wives and 17 children and grandchildren.
