Minister of Education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau was this afternoon booed by voters at his Giginyu polling unit in Kano metropolis.
Our correspondents monitoring the election also report that the Senator of the Kano central, Bashir Lado and the Presidential Adviser on Schools’ agriculture programmes, Dr. Baraka Sani were petted at their polling units in Nasarawa local government area of the state.
When Shekarau arrived his polling unit 022 at Giginyu around 1.45pm, voters started chanting Ba muso’ literally means we don’t want.
On their part, Barka and Lado who shared same polling unit 1 at Jigirya were petted with pure water sachet. It was reported that one of the Barka’s aide sustained injury on her head.
The trio are the Jonathan men in Kano state.
