Our correspondent reports that people from Ngala, Sheriff’s home town who were displaced by the Boko Haram were camped by the Borno State Government at the Teachers’ village.
Accompanied by some of his loyalists, Sheriff was there Saturday in order to cast his vote but was severally disappointed by the card reader which refused to recognize his fingerprint.
“We did our best but the machine kept disappointing us in trying to accredit the former governor,” one of the INEC officials at the camp, said.
“We wanted to use manual method to accredit the former governor as provided in the voting process but he got angry and somehow  tampered with the three ballot papers given to him,” he said.
The card reader had however recognized most of the people at the camp.
