Vice President Kashim Shettima, alongside the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and the governors of Ondo, Cross River, and Enugu States, have joined other eminent Nigerians in celebrating the Director General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Dr. Jobson Oseodion Ewalefoh, on his 50th birthday.
In his goodwill message, Vice President Shettima described Ewalefoh as a patriot and reformer whose leadership represents hope for Nigeria’s renewal. “Our nation’s quest for renewal rests on the shoulders of your breed – men of character and brilliance, men whose minds have been refined by learning, tested by service, and anchored in patriotism,” he said.
Interior Minister Tunji-Ojo commended Ewalefoh for driving progress in infrastructure delivery through public-private partnerships (PPPs). “Under your leadership at the ICRC, possibilities have transformed into progress, and dreams into reality,” he noted.
Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State praised Ewalefoh for his vision and commitment to harnessing PPPs as tools for transformative development, describing him as a reformer whose efforts are leaving an indelible mark on national growth.
Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Otu, said Ewalefoh’s foresight and dedication show that “visionary leadership can indeed turn infrastructure challenges into opportunities.”
In his tribute, Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, highlighted the ICRC DG’s impact at both institutional and national levels. He said, “At 50, your leadership has helped advance infrastructure delivery through private sector innovation and resources.”
