Shile community in Ganjuwa local government area of Bauchi state will soon get a maternity centre to alleviate their sufferings in accessing healthcare service delivery.
The centre is be constructed by the former special assistant to the state governor on Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Social Investment Programs (SIPs), Alhaji Mansur Manu Soro.
Speaking at the foundation laying ceremony, Soro said he was constructing the maternity centre to complement Bauchi state government in its efforts to improve health care service delivery in the state through implementation of its 5-point health agenda (Lafiya Garkuwa).
He said when completed, the maternity would mitigate cases of maternal mortality and improve access to routine immunization in Shile, Jaro, Jumbi, Kara, Kalere, Dubu, Lango, Gogi, Gammaya of Ganjuwa local government and some neighboring villages in Kirfi local government area.
