The reshufflement which had long been anticipated, was only announced in the early hours of yesterday [Friday] when it was least expected. A statement from the Acting Secretary to the state government Alhaji Abdurrazak Adamu showed that those affected are Alhaji Muhammadu Dangaladima who was moved from Ministry for local government and Chieftaincy Affairs to Water Resources Ministry, Alhaji Kabiru Marafa from Water Resources to Education Ministry and Dr. Na`Allah Isa Mayana from Ministry of Lands to that of Budget and Economic Planning.

Others are Alhaji Isiaka Mohammed Zurmi who was transferred from Ministry of Finance to Local governments and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Alhassan Ibrahim Shinkafi from Acting Commissioner Local governments and Chieftaincy Affairs to Finance and Alhaji Bashir Wakilin Kurya from Ministry of Education to that of Lands and Housing. The Director of Press government House Alhaji Adamu Sani Katuru said the appointment of the former Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning Alhaji Aliyu Adamu Tsafe would be made public in due course.  In a related development, five Special Advisers are also to swap positions in various   parastatals and boards. The statement said all postings and transfers are with immediate effect and the affected Commissioners and Special Advisers were directed to prepare hand over and take over notes within one week.
