No ATM at Chida Hotel, Utako

I am a regular customer at Chida Hotel, Utako, and I am very surprised that after the reoval of the somewhat useless UBA-installed ATM there, there has been none to replace it. I wonder what authorities of the hotel think about their customers who run out of cash while lodging there at odd hours. Whoever has the duty to address this should please do something about it quickly because apart from being a regular customer, I frequently recommend Chida to many people, local and international, to lodge there.

Hello, please check out China

Many times, I come across people who blame China as a country for the many branded products that are presumably imported to Nigeria from there. This has even unfortunately extended to a certain level of hatred for the Chinese by less informed people. Not many Nigerians are very aware of the many support programs instituted by China for Nigeria as a country and Nigerians as a people. I also realize that only a few know that China is a very friendly country, full of friendly people who love people from other countries, especially Nigeria. It would do a lot of good. China is a very large country, with a huge population of over one billion, and there are many factories there. Some Nigerian traders go there to beg the factories managers to produce low quality goods for export to Nigeria, besides, in China, you buy goods according to your purchasing power, so you should not blame China as a country for exporting fake or substandard goods to Nigeria. I advise Nigerians to visit China and know the country.

Is this corruption fight fair?

I think the federal government should take it very serious that its corruption fight is not seen as only anti-PDP. The allegation that if you are not in APC, the EFCC comes after you with corruption charges is very serious. It is at the same time sad that to those leveling the allegation, it does not matter whether the persons involved are guilty or not. We saw this same game play out during the Obasanjo era where it was said the government was only after enemies of the party. However, the federal government should be fair if indeed this is a fight to clean up Nigeria and not its rivals or enemies.

Please, allow PMB to rest

A person can only lead when he or she is alive. I think its high time President Buhari took a long rest. Hopefully, this will do him good, instead of creating room for speculation. It doesn’t matter whether he is fit before becoming president. Please, let us allow Buhari to have a good rest before resuming duty, it is not easy leading a huge country like Nigeria, check past Us presidents before and after assuming duty as president. Look at Obama now, looking strong and young again, unlike when he was in office as US president. It is not easy, let us give PMB a chance.
