The website said in a press release signed by its social media manager, Tobi ‘Leftist’ Ajiboye, that: “The Peace Shot … seeks to inspire great art from creative minds; great art that encourages us to vote peacefully and eschew violence. Traditional or digital art, photography, design, or a mix of these, are expected submissions that will spice the contest.”
The contest which started on March 3 will end on March 23 and the winner will get N100, 000 while the best 10 works will be published on the fast growing art and literature website, the statement said.
The aim of the contest is to showcase the wealth of artistic talent that Nigerian youths possess and also influence how the Nigerian populace goes about selecting its leaders.
