Igbos living in Lagos have been charged to support the government of the day and embrace politics.

Hon. Jude Idimogu, lawmaker representing Oshodi/Isolo constituency 2 at Lagos State House of Assembly, who also doubles as apex leader of Ndigbo in All Progressives Congress (APC), said Igbos resident in the state would reap bountiful benefits by being visible in the political arena.

Apart from that, he said they would be able to protect their investments in the state.

He spoke at a meeting to remember the heroes of democracy in continuation of the recently celebrated Democracy Day.

He said: “You can only benefit from a government that you are close to. Remember you can contribute meaningfully to a government when you are part of it, and that is the best way to protect your huge investments.”
