The event which was the second leg of MTV  Base ‘On Tour With Shuga’ festival featured celebrity appearances by MTV Shuga 4 cast including Mr Nigeria, Emmanuel Ikubese, MTV VJ Ehiz, Sharon Ezeamaka and Timini Egbuson.
It held at The Bank nightclub entertaining guests with a variety of activities including auditions for a presenter of the MTV Shuga 4 premiere red carpet, meet and greet sessions with the cast. There was also HIV testing and counselling, Q&A sessions, music and dance among others.
Mr Emmanuel Uduma, Head of Marketing and Partnerships, MTV Shuga, remarked that the mini festival was a success. He said: “This has been a really fantastic outing. There was a great turnout for the auditions and participants also got counselled and tested. We can’t wait for the Lagos edition, which holds next week as we believe it would be an even bigger experience.”
Of the many candidates who auditioned, five came out tops and will slug it out with the selected five from the Calabar edition and the forthcoming Lagos edition.
