Receiving the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate Sen Atiku Bagudu, Kebbi Central Senatorial candidate Sen Adamu Aliero and party chieftains during a courtesy visit at his palace at the weekend, Dr Abdullahi called on the electorate to ensure that they collected their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) ahead of the postponed general elections.
The emir challenged the APC campaign on their attention to the emirate, saying “you have allocated positions to Zuru, Gwandu, Kabi and other parts of the state, what do you reserve for Yauri kingdom?”
Responding, Sen Aliero said: “The APC government will return the role of traditional council to the constitution. APC has also reserved a ministerial slot, SSG and Speaker to State House of Assembly to Yauri Emirate.”
