The National Chairman, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Iyorchia Ayu, has called on Nigerians to shun politicians with divisive messages and empty promises trying to cause disaffection among the people.
He said the present circumstances in the country required Nigerians to think before acting, adding that parties with the same faith ticket should be rejected at the polls.

Ayu made the call in his goodwill message at the 8th National Convention of the Catholic Social Forum of Nigeria, held at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria in Abuja.
He said the APC has nothing to offer the people rather than same-faith ticket, describing it as “insensitive and divisive.”
Meanwhile, the Deputy Senate President and Delta State gubernatorial candidate on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has charged Deltans to vote out the PDP in the state come 2023.
Omo-Agege made the call during the official inauguration of the APC campaign organisation in Asaba, the state capital.
