Shun religious politics, Nyame tells Taraba electorates

Addressing supporters from Bantaje Ward of Wukari LGA, Nyame urged Taraba people to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan in view of the infrastructural developments they have so far enjoyed from his administration.
He explained that Jonathan’s administration established a federal university in Wukari and provided facilities for other tertiary institutions in the state through TeTFund to boost education and tackle poverty.
Nyame said people of the state have every reason to re-elect President Jonathan come March 28, adding that the present administration was instrumental to the building of the multi-purpose Kashimbilla Dam and has equally earmarked funds for the Mambilla hydro-power project amongst others.
While expressing assurances that people of the state would benefit more from Jonathan’s regime if re-elected, Nyame also urged the people to vote for Arch. Darius Ishaku as governor and other PDP candidates.
Earlier, chairman of Bantaje Elders Forum Malam Ali Sabo had assured of their support and called on President Jonathan to focus more on rural development if re- elected to power.
In another development, a women group, Heart to Heart for Goodluck, has expressed support for President Jonathan.
Leader of the group Vicky Samari said their support for Jonathan was in view of the attention his administration has so far given to women in the country, expressing assurances that women would be given more opportunity if Jonathan re-elected.
