Senator representing Kaduna central , Senator Shehu Sani has condemned the recent siege on houses of Senate President Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu by security operatives.
Senator Shehu in a tweet on Wednesday stressed that the development was a condemnable act that undermines democracy.
"The siege on the House of the Senate President and the invasion of the House of the Deputy Senate President is an utterly condemnable Act.It rubbishes the image of the Government & undermines our democracy". He noted.

His condemnation comes hours after Policemen on Tuesday morning blocked the convoy of the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki at Lake Chad Junction, Maitama, Abuja.
Similarly, the residence and the entire street of the deputy senate president Ike Ekweremadu was cordoned off, preventing anyone from leaving the house
