Finland-based Pro-Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa has debunked the claim by the Enugu state government and Nigerian Police Force that 27 alleged criminals including his supporters were killed in the state.

Ekpa described the 27 persons reportedly killed by the security agencies as “Innocent Biafrans”

Enugu State Government in a statement on Wednesday by Governor Peter Mbah’s media office disclosed that security agencies in the state killed no fewer than 27 criminals terrorising the state, including some followers of the Finland-based Biafran

The statement said the criminals were eliminated over two weeks in different security operations, where they engaged security operatives in gunfight.

Reacting, Ekpa stressed that 27 persons killed were not his supporters but were innocent persons.

“This is false and lies, not only that, it has exposed Nigeria state as a failed state and as a country that has failed to uphold human dignity.

“Simon Ekpa has no boys in Enugu, you have killed innocent Biafrans to prove a point to Abuja”, he said.
