Six persons have lost their lives in a multiple road crash at Igbelajewa area on Ilesa-Ipetu road yesterday.
The accident involved a red commercial Toyota Sienna car and a green Opel car with registration number GBA440XA.
The FRSC Superintendent Route Commander and Sector Public Education Officer, Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi, while confirming the incident, said seven people were also injured.
She said the accident was as a result of dangerous driving and excessive speeding by the drivers of the vehicles.
She said the injured victims were taken to Wesley hospital in Ilesa while the remains of those that died were deposited at the morgue of the hospital.
