Skyline University College (SUC) has concluded plans to strengthen its Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club (EIC) centre with a view to equipping students with modern techniques of doing business.
A statement from the university revealed that the institution would effect changes in its entrepreneurship and innovation programmes during the new academic year 2017-2018 in order to achieve its goals.
According to Executive Council and Board Member of the college, Mr. Nitin Anand, the centre would help in improving students’ skills in all areas of business under the supervision of the college being one of the oldest private universities in the UAE that offers business education.
“We want our students to be creators of job rather than job seekers after they graduate. The seed money we are allocating for the centre is only the beginning of our efforts to give them the proper training and real-life exposure as early as possible to embark on their business start-ups.
“Aside from giving them the right exposures in the industry, we want to encourage our students to pursue their dreams and the SUC management supports them to make these dreams into reality,” Mr Nitin said.
