So Kahina’s life is deeply shaped by her dual identity. Born in France, she spent several years living in Morocco, a country that remains close to her heart. Her pride in her Moroccan roots is evident in her frequent visits, as she keeps a strong connection with the land that has played a significant role in her life.

Alongside her psychology studies, So Kahina’s love for animals took a practical turn when she opened an animal shelter in Marrakech this past summer. The shelter, a long-held dream, was created to care for stray and abused cats in the city. This project fulfills a vision she had since childhood, turning her passion into meaningful action.

So Kahina shares a particularly strong bond with her mother, whom she affectionately calls “la petite dame.” Their relationship is one of deep connection, with her mother often featured in her social media content, reflecting their close-knit dynamic.

Her social media career began with YouTube, where she gained a loyal following through mukbangs and personal storytimes. This early community, which felt like a big group of friends, quickly became engaged with her content. She later expanded to TikTok with her popular “On mange ensemble” series, featuring her mother’s home-cooked meals. Today, she has over a million followers, drawn to her light-hearted humor and infectious personality.

Looking ahead, So Kahina aims to reconnect with her original YouTube audience, many of whom may feel distant since she shifted her focus to TikTok and Snapchat, where she now has 660k followers. She’s planning to create new, exciting content for YouTube, working with other creators to offer fresh entertainment to her viewers.

Beyond her digital work, So Kahina remains dedicated to her animal shelter in Marrakech. Despite having a team to manage it, she continues to visit regularly, ensuring that the animals receive proper care and attention. Her “baby project,” as she lovingly refers to it, remains a core part of her life and one of her proudest achievements.
