Popular Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, has continued to receive different reactions from across the country over her tweet to international star, Lady Gaga, for the role she played in the TV series, American Horror Story, where Lady Gaga played the part of Elizabeth, the owner of the titular hotel.
The role Gaga acted earned her the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress category – Miniseries or Television Film earlier this year because she interpreted her part so well.
Rita who aired her thoughts on Lady Gaga’s superb performance via the social media platform Twitter posted “I think Lady gaga was brilliant in that role “countess”. She ended the tweet using the hashtags #americanhorrorstory #hotel.
Lady Gaga however responded thus: “@ritaUdominic thank you, I really loved creating/becoming her even though she’s evil and ancient her heart felt as old as mine”.
This little exchange got Nigerians having mixed feelings over the reply the actress got from the international celebrity.
Someone who simply gave his name as Nwanna commented via Bellanaija posited: “People get too serious about little issues.
What has this exchange between Rita and Lady Gaga got to do with the exchange rate? This is just a normal tweet convo between two women/celebs. It doesn’t have to alleviate your sufferings before you appreciate it”.
Still commenting via the same forum, another person known simply as Zee stated that:  “It’s good to see a celebrity respond to a positive comment about her work!!! All they do now is clap back but never say thank you when something positive is said!”
