Buhari fires Babachir and NIA Boss Ayo oke

President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.

Presidential spokesman Femi Adesina announced this on his Twitter handle this afternoon.

Femi wrote “PMB terminates appointments of Babachir Lawal, suspended SGF, and Amb Ayo Oke, former DG, NIA. Mr Boss Mustapha is new SGF.”

The president has also appointed Mr Boss Mustapha as the new SGF says Buhari media aide Bashir Ahmed.

Ahmed wrote “Mr. Boss Mustapha from Adamawa State is new Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).”
