The Society of Nigerian Broadcasters (SNB) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hajiya Hussaina Pate, the mother of Professor Umaru Pate, Vice Chancellor of Federal University Kashere, Gombe State.
The SNB, in a statement by its Vice President for the North Central Zone, Ismail Sani, described Hajiya Hussaina, who passed away at the age of 80, as a woman of remarkable legacy, known for her love, wisdom and strength, which she instilled in her children and everyone privileged to know her.

Sani conveyed heartfelt condolences to Professor Pate and his family, acknowledging the irreplaceable loss of a mother.
