This was disclosed recently by the state governor, Alhaji  Aliyu Wamakko, while inspecting the site for the project which is to be located at Tabani village in Rabah Local Government Area.
Governor Wamakko revealed that the state government has paid its counterpart contribution of N1.6 billion for the establishment of the company.
“The Argentine firm, South American Breeding Technology, would provide the balance of N1 billion required for the project,” he said.
The governor assured that the land would be cleared soon for the commencement of the actual work on the site, adding that “part of the equipment have arrived Sokoto and the installation would start soon.”
He directed the officials of the Ministry of Animal Health to ensure effective supervision of the project.
