Water will soon be available in all the nooks and crannies of Sokoto State with 250 solar powered boreholes being sunk in the 23 local government areas of the state, Commissioner for Rural Development, Mani Miashinku Katami, has assured.

Katami disclosed this while speaking on the N2bn project which he described as a complete package of solar powered boreholes and that 60 to 70 per cent of the work had been done.

He also expressed commitment of the ministry towards ensuring completion of some water projects inherited from the previous government.
