Sokoto SSG, CoS, 11 commissioners resign

The secretary to the Sokoto State Government, Sa’idu Umar Ubandoma, the chief of staff to Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Mukhtar Umar Magori and 11 commissioners have resigned their appointments to contest for various elective offices.

Daily Trust learnt that the commissioners are Aminu Bala Bodinga (land and housing), Bashir Gorau (youths and sports), Abdussamad Dasuki (finance), Garba Moyi (security and carriers affairs) and Abdullahi Maigwandu (religious affairs).

Others are Salihu Maidaji (works), Abubakar Maikudi (solid minerals), Shu’aibu Gwanda Gobir (water resources), Sagir Bafarawa (environment), Bashir Gidado (commerce) and Manir Dan’iya (local government and deputy governor).

Daily Trust further learnt that Governor Tambuwal has accepted their resignation.
