Speaking at the Lagos House Marina, where the governor hosted the student leaders, a former National President of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Mr. Damilare Lawal, declared their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) saying the party was far better organised and prepared to profer solution to the challenges confronting Nigerians than the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Calling on APC to be vigilant, Lawal noted that there are several means by which elections could be rigged, pointing out that the recent shift in election dates constituted a form of rigging which could be described as structural rigging.
Responding, Governor Fashola urged them to ensure that they collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC’s), noting that this was the first step to seeing their preferred candidate win election.
