The Southern Kaduna Integrity Forum (SKIF) has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Sunday Marshall Katung for re-election in 2027, citing their contributions to the development and unity of Southern Kaduna.

The forum announced its endorsement during a press conference in Kaduna where it pledged to mobilise support across the region to ensure the victory of both leaders at the polls.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Convener Samuel Tajo said members of the forum would embark on grassroots mobilisation across the eight local government areas of Southern Kaduna to galvanise support for Tinubu and Katung ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to him, the endorsement was informed by the developmental projects and interventions attracted to the region under their leadership, including the establishment of the Federal University of Applied Sciences, the Federal Medical Centre and other critical infrastructure initiatives.

Tajo commended President Tinubu for supporting policies and programmes that have benefited the region, while describing Senator Katung as a leader committed to the progress and unity of Southern Kaduna.

He noted that the senator had played a significant role in fostering cohesion among communities and advancing the interests of the people at the national level.

The forum urged residents of Southern Kaduna to support Tinubu and Katung’s re-election bids, maintaining that continuity in leadership would help sustain ongoing development efforts and bring more dividends of democracy to the region.
