Alhassan Yakmut, a Deputy Director with the commission, said in a telephone interview that the NSC was restrategising on how to nurture talents discovered at the festival.

“The NSC is restrategising on how to ensure that talents discovered at the festival were nurtured and exposed to international reckoning,” he said.

According to him, the commission has completed arrangements to ensure that talents discovered at the forthcoming festival in Lagos are properly groomed.

“The commission’s scouts will be on ground at the festival to ensure that no talents slipped through their watching eyes.

“The sports festival remains the single largest gathering of youths in the country and so will remain the commission’s means of discovering talents for the nation.”
