First it was the talk of over 250 cows for a burial, next it was spraying of money, later the talk was about the latest cars in town.
If there is any gist that has dominated the Nigerian social media space in the last 48 hours, it’s the talk of Oba, the Anambra town where Obinna Iyiegbu, billionaire owner of Cubana Club, is burying his mother, who died in December.

Musicians, Actors, socialites are in the town and guess who is among the top guests? It’s Abba Kyari, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, famous for cracking major crimes.
As head of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP’s) Intelligence Response Team in 2017, Kyari, a Deputy Commissioner of Police, led the operation that led to the arrest of Evans, suspected billionaire kidnapper.
He has also cracked other cases that shook the country.
Oba, the town in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, is not the first place where Kyari will be seen cooling off.
He has spent time off the job with music star, Davido, Musiliu Akinsanya, Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos State, better known as MC Oluomo, to mention but few.
