SSS stops Sanusi from travelling to France

Operatives of the State Security Service(SSS) at the Mallam Aminu International Airport (MAKIA) have just stopped the Suspended governor of Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN), Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusil from travelling abroad.

Our correspondent reports that  Sanusi was suspended in February by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan over alleged financial recklessness and misconduct.

It was gathered that Sanusi was about to board a flight at the airport to France around 11.pm yesterday when the security operatives barred him and collected some of his travelling documents.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the incident, Sanusi said he was travelling abroad to attend a workshop.
