SSAUTHRIAI in a communiqué issued at the end of its sector council meeting held in Makurdi recently, also urged government to extend the retirement age of 65 approved for universities and research institutes to other tertiary health institutions.
The communiqué signed by SSAUTHRIAI Health Sector President Comrade Joshua Chijioke also cautions that “the introduction and implementation of IPPIS should not in any way lead to the scrapping of allowances such as teaching allowances of members of staff of tertiary health institutions.”
