A cross section of education stakeholders has appealed to governments at all levels to adopt the e-learning approach as a strategy to make tertiary education available to millions of Nigerian youths.

At the summit organised by Olawoyin Awosika School Innovative Studies (OASIS), Afrigrant Resources Ltd, Sterling Bank and UNICAF in Lagos, the stakeholders were unanimous in the call to adopt the numerous opportunities being offered by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to make tertiary education available to prospective students of institutions of higher learning.

Leading the call, the Chief Executive Officer of OASIS, Prof. Abiola Awosika, said with the upsurge in the number of Nigerian youths seeking admission on annual basis, it has become expedient for the Nigerian government to have in place, a policy that mandated tertiary institutions to adopt and even run studies through e-learning system.
