The event, which began at 7pm at the LASU Museum Agege also saw headline artistes Tiwa Savage, KCEE and Obesere performing.
The event anchored by standup comedian, Laff Up, began with performances by some of Agege’s finest upcoming talents. They included the likes of Osayi, IfyNye and Zdosa who went all out to thrill the audience.
Music group, Crystals, 2011 winners of music talent hunt show, ‘Star Quest’, made its 5th appearance at the concert, performing a synchronized medley of some of the crowd’s favorite hits. The band, which had one of the best stage performances of the concert proved their mettle ending their act on a highpoint.
Songstress, Tiwa Savage, made her debut appearance at the music fiesta this year to the delight of screaming fans.  The beautiful maven who also appeared on ‘The Trek’ last year was well supported by her gorgeous dancers throughout her performance.
Star act for the night, Kcee, left his fans begging for more even after it was all over, as he took over the stage performing alongside Harrysong who rendered a pulsating mix of his biggest hits.
‘Man of the Year’ Phyno, has gradually carved a niche in the hearts of many of his fans ensuring that his every performance is one to savour and remember. Eagerly awaiting him, his fans were not disappointed as he captivated the crowd from his very first verse.
Olamide’s duet with Phyno and upcoming rapstar, XBUSTA, were some of the highlights of the concert that sent fans reeling.
Fuji exponent, Obesere made sure he captivated the crowd with his pulsating lyrics.  His gorgeously attired dancers, held the crowd spellbound, ensuring the concert ended on a high note.
The Star Music Trek has visited FESTAC, Lokoja, Owerri, Enugu  Nnewi, Aba, Nnewi, Asaba, Abeokuta and Agege in its national 10-city-10-week  tour with thousands of music fans entertained across the country.
A grand finale of the music tour will hold at the National Stadium, Surulere in Lagos on August 10, 2013.
Meanwhile, multi award-winning act, 2face, is scheduled to make reappearance at today’s Grande Finale of the ‘Star Music Trek’ holding at the National Stadium, Surulere.
Black Diamond, Wande Coal is also expected to perform tonight alongside Tiwa Savage, Ice Prince, Dr Sid, JMartins, Waje and a host of upcoming talents.
