I read with astonishment the above named article by Isa Abubakar Azare which appeared in the Daily Trust of Thursday April 7, 2016 in which  he eulogize the Bauchi state governor as performing creditably well. Isa Azare may be entitled to his opinion but he has no right to tell lies to those outside Bauchi. The Bauchi state Governor is turning out to be the worst Governor in the history of the state. In the first place he started on a wrong footing by taking a commercial Bank loan at an exorbitant interest rate. After all, the loan was never tied to any particular project. The loan is becoming an albatross to the Bauchi people.
It is insanity to say that he is improving health care when all public hospitals are left in total darkness as there is no constant power supply.
For the writer to claim that conduct of biometric verification saves millions but the exercise worsen the plight of workers with some going for four months without salary. The recent news paper report of the death of two pregnant women and five pensioners on the endless queues is an unpalatable. It’s on records that the deputy governor, permanent secretaries and top civil servant could not get their salaries as a result of this unnecessary exercise.        
The state media, particularly the Bauchi Radio Corporation (BRC) and the ten (10) Community Radio Stations are permanently off the air; if he can’t maintain these public communication medium how can he get his so called achievements to the public? No wonder people in Bauchi refer to him as “one term Governor”.
What happen to his promise of youth empowerment that he promised the state youth in his 100 days in office. M.A Abubakar is simply too much talk and little substance.
