After British Prime Minister David Cameron’s incredible politically incorrect statement on Nigeria, I was riled up. But reading our Presidency’s response calmed me. It is indeed true that Cameron still bears the “old snapshot” of what Nigeria was before the coming of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, to have described it as “fantastically corrupt” alongside Afghanistan. Also heartening was the intervention of the Archbishop Justin Welby, who stressed that Buhari is not corrupt. It made me happy that the cleric is infinitely more informed than a whole PM! God bless President Muhammadu Buhari and God bless Nigeria.
