The Northern Elders Forum (NEF) under the leadership of Professor Ango Abdullahi has been advised to desist from politicising insecurity in the North.

Spokesman of the Coalition of Northern Youth Organisations (CNYO), Comrade Adamu Kabir Matazu, gave the advice at a news briefing in Kaduna.

He said as elders in the region they were not supposed to be partisan on issues of national insecurity.
