Nigeria should show to the world that this time around we have gotten it right in terms of conducting credible elections. Any politician that is aggrieved about the conduct of the said election can go to court and seek redress.

The number of casualties recorded in this violence due to the unpatriotic behavior of some of us should not be tolerated. Another dangerous dimension to the whole saga is the burning of voters’ cards by some Nigerians because their preferred candidates did not win elections. They should note that burning of voters’ cards would not augur well for them because of future elections.

To forestall future breakout of violence, all Nigerians should have the right to elect whoever they dim fit to govern them in any elective position and also the electoral umpire should give the correct result of the voting process.
