This mode of driving has reaffirmed the “above-the-law” mentality of the uniformed officers and they should be stopped from carrying out this act of indiscipline which they are supposed to shun.
We would please want the military officers and others who are perpetrators of these stupid but dangerous acts to desist, most especially because of the hapless pedestrians in search of their daily living. Only recently, although it was not an isolated incident, one of these reckless people who drive against traffic last week knocked down a pedestrian on the Oshodi-Apapa expressway.
