The name of my school is Tophill Schools. It is located along Accra Street, Wuse Zone5 near the popular wuse market in the FCT. The school was established on 2nd May, 1994 by Mrs. Catherine Nomhwange.
Tophill School is widely known for high academic and moral standards. This explains why it operates on the motto knowledge is light. The colour of the school flag is yellow white yellow. The school uniform is green and white. The citadel of learning since its inception has churned out notable Nigerians in various works of life including but not limited to medicine, engineering and architecture.
There are five yellow classroom blocks in my school. These blocks house sixteen spacious air-conditioned classrooms with numerous toilets. The classrooms are beautifully decorated with charts to facilitate teaching and learning. Also, the school has a two-storeyed building attractively painted in chocolate colour. It contains over fifteen classrooms with many sweet-scented toilets. This gigantic edifice is solely habited by the secondary section of the school.
Quite interestingly, my school has a very wide land mass which made it possible for the architectural design of the school to accommodate a standard football field, a volley ball court, a handball pitch, a library and three science laboratories. These facilities have immensely aided teaching and learning.
In conclusion, my school is second to none in the FCT. The serene learning environment of the school, coupled with high academic and moral standards set by my school make my love for the school unparallel.
